The best places to find new friends at a club are by the bar or close by the buffet.  Why? Because from my observations, people looking for some food and drinks come and go all the time and because the movement is reasonable there as well.   Some are even looking for love. It’s possible for you to make new friends there. If you encounter someone that's dull, leave with some polite excuse and find another busy place. Maybe you should look around one more time because you have decided to get to know as many people as possible. If you encounter somebody you find attractive smile at them and start a general conversation.  Let them know that you would like to continue the conversation. Ask if they would like to continue this conversation during dinner and set the date, time and place. Observe what type you deal with, what may interest them; use your illusions to suggest something that they will most probably accept. Every situation and person is different, so it will be up to you if you decide to suggest dinner.  It is okay if you act a little nervous. Don't worry about it, just think of nice things and the nervous feeling will pass.
